Something About me
Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my site. My name is Matthew Wilcox and I’m a 2019 goal keeper, in New Jersey. I’ve been playing soccer for the past 12 years and have been specialized at the position of keeper for the last 7. Soccer has always been a big part of my life and I’ve made it my mission to keep playing it at college and beyond. When I’m not playing or training, I spend my weekend ref’ing for various clubs in the area where I enjoy helping younger players learn the game.
My philosophy
I believe that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well. Everything I’ve accomplished, I’ve had to fight for! This has taught me that sometimes, you have to work twice as hard to overcome obstacles and that nothing can be taken for granted. My experiences have helped me to develop an excellent work ethic not only on the field but in everything I do. There is no challenge I won’t attack and nothing I can’t overcome.
